Austin has won the Best Supplier Award after completing a complex project for Cancer Research UK, on time and with a saving in excess of £1M

The Austin Company is very proud to announce that we have won the award for Best Supplier from Cancer Research UK. This was awarded to us on completion of Design and Construction of the Cancer Research UK’s New Biotherapeutics Facility in South Mimms.

We partnered with CR-UK and successfully delivered the building on time and with a saving in excess of one million pounds, thus providing CR-UK with a state of the art facility, allowing them to expand research in the years to come.

Austin High Performance Facilitation – A new approach to the Briefing Process meets with Success.

The Facilitation process is a service designed to help Clients get the best out of the design and construction process. It is aimed primarily at the front end, even before a project team is identified and can prove beneficial throughout the process.
We have just undertaken a briefing and concept development study for a major international pharmaceutical company using Facilitation techniques and tools with very beneficial results.

The process enabled “buy in” from all user and technical groups and senior management approval for an £8M multiphase laboratory refurbishment in just six weeks.
