In response to the growing interest with BIM among our clients and the numerous questions generated by the subject, The Austin Company arranged a BIM briefing session. The format of the event provided a series of views about BIM that included the clients, the multi-disciplinary designers, the Building Services sub-contractor and finally the Clients FM view about the use of BIM. The presentations were followed by a lively Q&A session. The event was held within one Austin’s live construction sites – a highly serviced research facility project in Oxfordshire where BIM has been used to great effect.
